Leadership

Adrienne Hepler  Owner & Founder

Adrienne excels at strategic oversight and planning for complex capital projects, with a particular passion for and expertise in projects for cultural, mission-driven and not-for-profit clients. She builds and directs large teams and is adept at navigating capital projects of all types and sizes through regulatory review and approvals processes to completion on time and on budget.

Prior to co-founding Envoie Projects, Adrienne was the Chief Operating Officer for Levien and Company, where she managed staff assignments and client relations, improved operating systems, and directed firm strategy. Before joining Levien, Adrienne worked on the owner’s side, where she served as Director of Capital Projects and Government Relations for The Public Theater in New York City, managing a $42 million renovation to a landmark building, which remained operational during four years of construction. During her tenure at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, where she oversaw the implementation of over $200M in Post-9/11 federal grants, she was able to help small nonprofits receive and utilize grant money to make the most impact to their organizations.

Adrienne is a member of both WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate and the Owner’s Representative Project Manager Alliance, serves on the Ambassador Council for Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW), and was a Beverly Willis Foundation Emerging Leader. She received a Master’s Degree from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Affairs at New York University, and her Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University.

As someone who enjoys the technical aspects of project management, Allison created the firm’s standards for cost control and contracting strategies and is responsible for the financial management of the company. She excels at leading large teams and motivating best-in-class performance.

As a project leader, Allison is a trusted advisor for her clients and collaborates with her team counterparts to drive results. She is a creative problem solver and is always looking for opportunities to add value to her projects and get the most for her clients. She is passionate about organizing systems, leading collaborative teams, negotiating contracts and claims, and resolving disputes.

Allison got her start in the industry working as a construction manager on a variety of commercial, residential, and retail projects. In 2009, she made a transition to the Owner’s side of the table and has since developed expertise in serving cultural, educational, and other nonprofit clients. Over the years, she has successfully completed a wide range of projects – including complex renovations, out-of-the-ground construction projects, and elaborate historic restorations. Allison leverages her financial management skills by working on a variety of city- and state-funded projects and acts as liaison between the project team and the governmental agencies in administering the funding agreements. She is currently working with the Brooklyn Public Library, the People’s Theatre Project, and Saint Ann’s School, as well as some affordable multi-family housing and high-end residential projects.

Since 2015, Allison has been an active member of CREW New York, served as Chapter President in 2020, and is currently on the CREW New York Board of Directors and the CREW Network Foundation Board. Her involvement in CREW includes mentorship and fundraising to help women advance in the commercial real estate industry and build a diverse pipeline of talent. Allison is also an adjunct professor at NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate where she teaches a continuing education course in Construction Budgets and Cost Management. She received her B.S. in City & Regional Planning from Cornell University, with a concentration in Architecture, and her M.S. in Construction Management from New York University. She is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Allison lives in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood with her two children and spends her free time on the Peloton bike or lifting very heavy weights.
