Emily Giese, RA
Senior Project Manager

Emily is a Senior Project Manager with nearly two decades of professional experience in architecture and capital project management, spanning preservation, renovation, and new construction. Emily has not only completed a variety of cultural and educational projects for both public and private institutions, she also has built many of New York City’s public parks, having worked for both Hudson River Park Trust and Columbia University. With deep expertise in the stewardship of existing buildings, Emily approaches each project with a keen understanding and consideration of what happens to buildings after they are built. She dives into the details and excels at synthesizing technical information with “big picture” strategy to empower clients to make well-informed decisions.  She advocates for design and construction that prioritizes longevity and sustainability and believes in the narrative power of our built environment. Emily holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, is a Registered Architect in NY, and a LEED Legacy Professional. When not at work, Emily and her husband are busy teaching their children to bike ride in the city – and to look up!
