CULTURAL & RELIGIOUS
Envoie managed the redesign of the public spaces at Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC). JALC is located in the in the Time Warner Center overlooking Columbus Circle. The center features three performance venues purpose-built for jazz. While each room has a unique identity, the public spaces of JALC required renovation to improve operation, visually reflect JALC’s identity, and to play a clear role in the concert and educational experiences. The redesign program included new wall, ceiling and floor finishes, improved public access, and improvements to the Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame. A new glass staircase connects the two floors of the atrium, making the space more accessible for visitors. Additionally, the design incorporated display technology to present programming and other visual content, with a high-resolution video display wall.
