COMMERCIAL, RETAIL & HOSPITALITY
Located in the Chelsea Arts District in Manhattan, 542 West 22nd is the first purpose-built, ground-up building project commissioned by the Zurich-based art gallery in its 28-year history. The contextual design of the 36,000 sf, five-story building is informed by the surrounding neighborhood’s historic character. Designed by Selldorf Architects, all spaces are designed with the intent to put art at the forefront of the visitor’s experience. In addition to flexible exhibition space, the building also includes a multi-purpose bar and event space, private offices and showrooms.
